I don't like the pole in the Dave's Rubicon's picture. It's light and distracts the eye from the Rubicon. It looks so sad stuck out there in the rain, but not because it's all wet, but because it doesn't get to play and has to sit at work. Reminds me of Dave.

uncomfortable journey into black and white...
I don't know how to do this...so it was good for me. remember, don't be distracted by the colors, learn to read the light. At the end of the day, though colors may be dynamic, if you don't have interesting light, the photo falls short. Obviously, this was a power point day at work...
